AI has continually evolved, enhancing its capabilities and applications. One of the latest innovations in the AI landscape is Dora AI.
DORA AI (Alpha) is a design platform that is in its alpha stage of development, yet managed to get listed as the #1 Product of the month at Product Hunt. It’s Quite similar to Web builder tools like Webflow and Wix but what makes Dora ai different from them is that it can import 3D objects and scenes directly to the canvas. It also allows you to transform static designs into 3D and Automate your animation process. Dora AI challenges the traditional approach to web design and creates visually stunning, interactive websites effortlessly.
What I liked the most is that there’s a Dora ai Plugin for Figma which allows us to transform our static designs made in Figma and change them into interactive and responsive designs.
User Interface
The User Interface of Dora Editor is strikingly similar to Figma’s Interface which makes it more user-friendly for designers. The less crowded toolbars and panels make it easy to use for everyone. I couldn’t find some tools like color picker and pen tool. I hope that’s because the software is still in its Alpha Version.
3D WIDGET
DORA Editor turns into a hybrid of Figma and Spline with the 3D widget. You can elevate your designs by transforming Static to 3D, a feature that adds captivating 3D interactions to give your website a new dimension and captivate your visitors. The 3D Widget only accepts A GLB file (. glb), which stands for “GL Transmission Format Binary file”, is a standardized file format used to share 3D data.
Finally, there’s Advanced AI Animation inside Dora AI, which automates the animation process and saves you hours of manual work, it also lets us manually tweak the animation in the timeline.
